Basically, if a simple two-minute conversation could solve 100% of the problems in the story, it's probably safe to say it isn't something I'll be into. :P

- graphic on-screen torture or mutilation, especially in a sexual context (aftermath/recovery is great, I just don't want to hear about the gory details as they're happening!)

I'm also really into the smorgasbord approach lots of authors take re: mixing and matching from game/book/show canon to tell the stories they want to tell; really, I'm not so much specifically a fan of the various adaptations as I am of the nebulous meta-fandom entity that encompasses them all.

I'm okay with fics that include it as a past relationship, and/or deliberately explore the really fucked-up implications of the ship head-on, but anything that presents it in an unsubverted "everything that happens between them is completely healthy and fine and romantic" way gets too far into the uncomfortable-for-me side of dub/noncon for me to be able to enjoy it.
- Yennefer bashing/villainization, especially to get her out of the way so Geralt/Jaskier endgame can happen. Portrayals of her as a complicated individual with rather selfish motivations are wonderful, other characters disliking her is fine, but I don't enjoy seeing her treated as a speed bump on the road to the author's OTP.
- Jaskier/Yennefer outside of them both also being involved with Geralt
- stories focused solely on Geralt apologizing/needing to atone for the Mountain Breakup
- Jaskier "trading up" by getting together (whether sexually/romantically or platonically) with another witcher after the Mountain Breakup, especially if the emphasis is on how much better/more communicative/etc. said witcher is than Geralt, or him rubbing the new relationship in Geralt's face
